why after months that the treaments have being over i still
so scare will ever go away i fill so lonely and somtimes mad
i wonder if i ever going to have a normal life againg i pray
a lot and it helps .
and also being whit all my grandkids i have 15, and i live whit 6 of them they help so much during my treaments

For me the more time that passes the easier it gets, but I don’t think the fear will ever go completely away. Look at the smiles of your grandkids for strength. We all will be here if you ever need support!

Soledad – Like Jill said, it gets better. Praying is good. I will pray Philippian 4:6-7 for you. Lord, You tell us not to worry, and to tell You our needs. Soledad needs peace. Please comfort her, fill the loneliness in her heart with Your love and Your peace.
Anger is part of the mending process. It will get better.
Hugs!
Karen Beck

Praying always helps, you ask God to listen and you feel a sense of such strong calmness; so strong you could probably go right to sleep if it weren’t 12 o’clock noon :).

I wish you the best of luck, no need to be scared. Doctors today know what they are doing and medicine is at it’s tops. Don’t let your mind be swamped with what’s in the past or what may come because nothing will come. You just have to keep yourself healthy in both body and mind. Stay strong, and let your grandkids know how you feel. I’m sure they’d love to comfort you.

Hi Soledad, I can identify with the feeling mad and lonely part. But don’t let it rule your life. You said you have six, I repeat six of fifteen grandchildren living with you, take your strength from them. Look at the love that is in their eyes when they say your name. Know that all they want from you is YOU and I would bet you have a lot of love to spread around.

The wisdom of the little ones is remarkable. After six weeks of seeing me hooked up at home to an IV, when the needle was finally removed the 3 1/2 year old said, “Granma, you’re gonna be faster now.” My heart soared, he really pays attention to how things are affecting me and he cares.

Take heart, you have a community that the greater world knows nothing about. The support and compassion you’ll feel will be amazing and uplifting. I know, I received my booster shot just this morning. If all of your treatments went according to schedule and you received them all, trust in the wisdom of your doctors, the treatments and your God. Don’t live your life in fear, it will take to much out of you, go forward and do it with grace, dignity and love.

Walk on the sunny side, I’m gonna try to stay there too, thanks to everyone.
